Offering a classic look, toppings are often used as an alternative to concrete or brick paving. They have an ability to pack down hard and provide a great surface for driving and walking on.
Hillview 5mm Grey Dust
Hillview 5mm grey dust is a decorative 5mm minus grey granite. The compactible product, also known as Dromana topping or granitic sand, looks great on driveways and paths and is also widely used by plumbers as a pipe bedding material.
Apply at a depth of 25-40mm. Use a vibrating plate for best results or simply rake out and tread down to pack for firm finish. After compacting lightly, spray water to settle all the fine particles.

As a very fine material, it is easy to maintain and great for family use due to its softness underfoot.

Sourced from Bairnsdale, Gold Dust is a rich blend of yellows, browns and earthy colours. It is one of our most decorative products. Offering a wonderfully luxurious look of depth and colour, these screenings are perfect for a driveway or pathway topping. They provide significant light reflection and help brighten any darker parts of the garden.
